This principal came into the initial consultation with an abundant, primarily luxury wardrobe, but it lacked cohesion and operational structure. Her closet had become a liability demanding her attention and time rather than an asset serving her life.
After working with Larkspur, she had a wardrobe rebuilt from the ground up. The focus shifted from random luxury purchases that had caught her attention on shopping trips to a curated digital wardrobe system. Strategic Approach
Starting from the ground up with a chaotic closet, no matter how luxurious, into a time management, operational asset requires a curated and methodical model. With Larkspur we were able to curate her wardrobe into one that was effortless and worked for her using our proven model system.
1.Wardrobe Audit
The first step in our process is, and must always be, a comprehensive wardrobe edit. This process involves an in-person review of every single garment in the principal's closet. Each piece was evaluated based on a series of criteria before we are ever able to move on to the next step.
2. Discovery
This is where the magic really began to happen. From the basics of measurements, color palette and silhouette, to learning about what a day-in-the-life of our Principle looks like, to her professional and social obligations, lifestyle, budget, upcoming events and so forth. This was the foundation upon what all else was built.
3.Wardrobe Curation
This step was the behind-the-scenes action that took place and where we began to bring the principal's vision to life. We pulled clothes from local boutiques as well online stores where the items were not available locally. We hunted, we shopped and we scrutinized and analyzed every piece against the Discovery details.
4.Private Fitting
The principal met us in a discreet private fitting environment. Every wardrobe piece had been pre-selected and ready for her to try on. This freed her from hours and days of shopping random stores and pursuing online sites for hours. Instead, we had curated for her pieces that were designed seamlessly to fit into her lifestyle. If anything needed to be altered we handled it and if anything needed to be returned we handled that as well.
5.Implementing Digital Wardrobe
Her new wardrobe, including existing items that we kept in her rotation, were digitally added and catalogued in her personal account in a mobile app. We created a lookbook for her where she was then able to instantly visualize and pull together a rotation of work outfits, travel wardrobes and private event looks that finally made sense for her, saving time and money.
6.Ongoing Wardrobe Management
She then decided to become a member of our Wardrobe Management Yearly Membership so we could provide her continuous seasonal updates, keeping her wardrobe fresh and current, freeing her up time to take care of those things that mattered most to her.
